  1. Gorgeous work Jessie, although a tiny, pernickety part of me wanted the bananas to fall then land silently to be honest. I know I keep asking, but what was the music? H ❤

I love that it rippled your expectation detector; that funny part of us that wants harmony … Music by Brambles, To Speak of Solitude ❤

      • The music caused me to anticipate the silent landing I think Jessie; as far as I know I have no pathological aversion to noisy bananas. 😉

      • Yes, I’ve just watched the banana sequence a few more times; it’s the music that primes the expectation.

Within the context of this video- The Spoon is the ‘music primes the expectation’ & the banana is self explanatory, as it suggests 😉

    • Hahahaha this is one of my favourite animations!

The film is one of your best I’d say. It reminded me of that classic scene in the original ‘Nosferatu’ film, where the shadow of the ancient vampire falls up the walls on the staircase. I’d like to see the above in black and white just for this reason. I didn’t expect the bananas to crash loudly, much like H. It’s always good to shake the pepper pot up a bit.

How funny is it, if I watched it on repeat for a few consecutive days, it would probably drive me mentally unstable, yet I’d like to say that it wouldn’t, that’s how much of a fan I am.

Ah I’ve never seen this Nosferatu film , thanking you again for great links Sonmi… The discorded banana thud has given me much joy with its accompanied reactions, and will now push me to explore this very disjoint … A video for you Madam which I thought was interesting about music

This was the result of a long day sorting through 1000 stamps for no reason. Glad to have tickled something Tony 🙂
