Jessie Martinovic – Author January 7, 2016 Thank you Hariod Hariod Brawn January 7, 2016 You’re welcome. Have a golden doughnut to go with your missing coffee: Jessie Martinovic – Author January 7, 2016 wOw, so kind of you, did you find it on the corner? Hariod Brawn January 7, 2016 Which corner would that be? But no anyway; that’s real gold leaf on there. Hariod Brawn January 7, 2016 Oh, gotcha! Pride Corner. No, it cost me $100 at the Manila Social Club. Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 thank you so much, had a look at the place, they have a fish with no tail and the doughnuts are mighty fresh, pitty I’m gluten intolerance, but my eyes are always hungry just to look Hariod Brawn January 8, 2016 Have you ever made your own doughnuts, gluten free ones, obviously? Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 no I haven’t, but the hip cafe (that I actually love even though it is so popular) makes them, they are quite dry. I think it’s one of those things that need the qualities of the gluten for fluffy rising etc Hariod Brawn January 8, 2016 Well, yes, fluffy rising is pretty much a prerequisite of a successful ring doughnut experience. I once tried cooking them years ago following the instruction of a marvellous TV cook called Mrs. Craddock. Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 I think you said something about her once before Hariod Brawn January 8, 2016 She is a legend of British television cookery who worked with her husband on the set. Not exactly an Elizabeth David, more earthy and forthright. Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 I thought you said fortnight, and I was like, er someone can be measured in two week segments? But anyhow, go lizzy and huby Esme upon the Cloud January 8, 2016 A fluffy rising ring is the least one would hope for under such circumstances, and dairy free is also possible, I know this from personal experience and can assure one and all that the vegan offerings are most definitely the lightest and sweetest you’ll ever place your tongue upon. – esme the knowledgable upon the Cloud Hariod Brawn January 8, 2016 I would like to investigate that Esme; your tips are always worth exploring. Tell me, what do you decorate your vegan fluffy rising ring with? Esme upon the Cloud January 8, 2016 Rainbow sprinkles, silver edible balls and a squirt of whipped vegan cream. – esme spinning doughnuts like plates upon the Cloud Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 Yeah, I think the ones at this cafe are vegan , they were alright, I wouldn’t really call them a doughnut though hah. More a cake, thing. I’d love to try yours though, fur sure! Esme upon the Cloud January 8, 2016 I’m wild about doughnuts, the ones they sell in some of the supermarkets here are vegan, and there’s a small van that sometimes appears in the city centre that cooks batches of little ones there and then for you, and pops them into a paper bag with sugar sprinkled on top. I could eat several bags of them, so don’t go anywhere near the van Hahahaha. – Esme upon the sugary Cloud Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 Sounds wonderful and delicious. Yesterday at the shops, the ones who house supermarkets, the most amazing thing happened. You know that violinist, Agnes, I posted a few weeks ago? She was in the food court, playing. I have never seen before, a busker in this environment. I actually couldn’t believe it, and melted in happiness for the world at large. She was sugar in sound Esme upon the Cloud January 8, 2016 Aw that is sweet indeed. I imagine the acoustics will have been something else, all those surfaces for the notes to bounce off. They must have heard her and wanted her inside. I hope they pay her something for it. *nods*. – esme smiling upon the Cloud Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 I’m unsure of the deal, but I have a feeling she just did it, because that sort of thing is usually not aloud. Go Agnes Hariod Brawn January 8, 2016 Who started all this doughnut talk for goodness sake?! Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 Taylor Swift Esme upon the Cloud January 8, 2016 Some nut who likes plenty of dough I’ll bet! – esme bowing upon the Cloud Hariod Brawn January 8, 2016 Aha, another fan of the famous fluffy rising ring is he? Who is Taylor Swift btw, some butch actor I daresay is he? Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 He is nothing more than Jimmeny cricket Marissa Bergen January 7, 2016 It all seems so peaceful in the slo-mo with the pretty music. We know the reality, with all the bells and whistles in the background. Jessie Martinovic – Author January 7, 2016 Thanks Marissa, why do people love bells and whistles so much, actually, there are probably so many bells and whistles, people aren’t able to see past them to the peaceful slo-mo within them Marissa Bergen January 8, 2016 I’m not a big fan of bells and whistles myself. The arcade is the last place I would want to be for precisely that reason. That being said, I would also have a hard time finding peace and slo-mo in that type of atmosphere. The person who filmed this is an out of the box thinker for sure. Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 Oh this was actually at the movie theater yesterday, when I went to see what was on. And the person who filmed this, is most probably just in another box, with larger parameters. Who knows! mikesteeden January 8, 2016 My favourite piece of music! Why is there an envelope affixed to the box with Tiptoes written on it? I have to know as it’s distracting me…in a good way I stress! Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 I’m unsure why, but I do tend to want to make every thing have some form of human body likeness. What do you think it means? I could sit here and make up something that would sound good though if you wish mikesteeden January 9, 2016 For once a simple answer…indeed an obvious answer! You have not outgrown the habit of living in a fantasy world when it suits you. I am nearly 200 years old and still live in mine when the fancy takes…nothing wrong with that Just Jessie Jessie Martinovic – Author January 9, 2016 Do I never give simple answers? I’m unsure if it is fantasy as much as it is hiding behind layers of incoherence. Most probably a self-destructive, isolating mechanism in disguise or something. Who knows really. The wonders of living a multi-dimensional life mikesteeden January 9, 2016 But fantasy is hiding behind layers of incoherence…that’s why small children do it so well Jessie Martinovic – Author January 10, 2016 Ah ok. I have fantasy probably wrongly described in my head as fairies, goblins and dragons! mikesteeden January 10, 2016 Then you need to be in a Victorian country garden within the shires of Olde England 150 years ago I deduce! Esme upon the Cloud January 8, 2016 One sits with the other well though the static motorcyclists are taking all corners real carefully, so avoiding any sharp corners, of which some pride must be taken in. *smiles* – esme nodding upon the Cloud Jessie Martinovic – Author January 8, 2016 It’s a wonder who made a game of it in the first place! Esme upon the Cloud January 8, 2016 Someone stoned I imagine. *laughs*. – Esme running a clean Cloud Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
