Turning one on The Baraza

This Baraza Mat is a circle of 20 ‘chairs’. It’s a Swahili (African) gathering held to share collective wisdom. A Baraza is a social affair where current events are discussed, knowledge is built, and relationships forged.  Children can graduate to one from naught, on the Baraza, or anywhere else for that matter.
