      Yes Mike, poached eggs are indeed the bom-digghity of the culinary world.

      • I am useless at most things yet do cook rather well…the perfect poached egg took me an age to work out until I discovered that a little boiling water in a wok coupled with a mighty ‘spin’ was the way to go…have you any tips as to poached eggs, the ones in the picture do have that perfect look about them.

        You said it right there, it’s all in the spin/swirl of the pre-simmering, just right water bath!
