This is a door mat named Borris. Picked it up from a neighboring states, house of treasures. Namely IKEA or the house with multiples. Best of. Borris clearly the most valuable mat on the market, Β in both name and amenity within a neat price of ninety-nine cents.

We traveled far and wide.

Until wind determined its (Borris’) inevitable fate.

They haven’t rung, but I went there again and it was still there. Luckily the rain did not soak him, and someone had left some food there.

Its not true Shey. Anyone can do it. But it’s probably not something that would evoke much sentiment or enjoyment to most.

  1. My kind of story Just Jessie…you certainly know how to bring the inanimate to life. More importantly, I think ‘The Life & Times of Borris The Door Mat’ would make a fantastic series of children’s books (seriously).

To be honest, I am unsure about books these days. There seems to be so many, especially when I visited the bookstore. So many books there.

I really want to invent the next thing after the book (after the kindle), but I don’t know what it is because I haven’t invented it yet.

I’d quite happily print and staple a book together for you on my low ink yet printer, the look is not at all promising!

      • Honestly, I think a self-publish job should do the trick (plus a lot of ‘off the wall’ marketing. It costs nothing to do it on Amazon apart from your time. I do believe Borris ‘has legs’

Yeah, an eventual book on the way out of this world seems fitting enough.

        Borris has legs?

      • ‘This idea has legs’ is a phrase a lot of boring business men and women use when they think a plan is worth ‘running with’ (another, equally tedious phrase). You don’t need to know such rubbish and should dismiss such words to the bin! Did you get Borris back…much more important?

hilarious. Yes, business is funny business.

Borris, no. I shall ring them later today

Brilliant and fun (and things that are brilliant aren’t always fun, but this is!)

  3. I think Borris is a fine name though I would have preferred Natasha, I believe, doormats being androgynous, as it were.

Are you familiar with Natasha Fatale and Boris Bafinoff, btw?

Yeah! You could call it Tash for short, and even then people could mistake it for a mustache, as tash is short for that word also!

No, I hadn’t been familiar, but did google search them yesterday. What a funny thing πŸ™‚
