The opposite of inept is it

To say the spirit of shopping giving has not had its effect would be something. Purchases -being minimal- rarely match item in mind pre-shop entry. Need this, get that. Mind plays with ideas, hands picking up items. Leaving them in other isles when the brain realizes- you really do not need this/ they really don’t need that. Choosing between. Somehow, a kilo of rocks make the cut. A bag, telling me exactly what to do. Soft cushion (foot),ย  black towel on Black Friday. A clock.

Clearly all necessities.

Plus the thinnest, most efficient tree on the market. The future of trees.

  1. You are probably correct…’the future of trees’ as a thin memory of what once was. Fabulous read…I read it as if it were written and presented as a poem. Bravo words.

Thank you. Yes, the future of trees is a printable version.

The wordpress button has ‘write’ written next to the icon- probably deliberate- so I thought, to write some.

  2. Sounds about right and one of the reasons I am shopping mostly online this year but already finding that a lot of items aren’t what they seem once you are actually holding them in your hands and/or trying them on. I hate to leave things in the aisle though…do unto others and all that.

Yes, true. I try to think of the moving of items as artistic developments.

yes, you wouldn’t want to go fully Christmas

      do you believe in Christmas?

yes, yes of course. I always put a lot of thought into that for others though, because I can’t stand just buying for the sake of giving crap, just for giving.

  3. Lights for tree? USB port? I don’t buy anything that doesn’t have a USB port. Well, a blender sneaked through. It is a lovely tree and anything that can be described with words containing the letters l, o, v and e is exactly what we need..

Hah! Thanks Robert, I quite like the tree too. And that word is a wonderful one indeed . Have a lovely day ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, Malie took it to school for a school project. I gave her a mollusk fossil also for the show and tell ๐Ÿ™‚
